Terms of Business
1. About these terms
Slater & Green Ltd (company number 15795993, registered office 8 Gresford Avenue, CH48 6DB) arranges 1-1 tuition with qualified tutors and runs its own small-group classes. These terms apply to all 1-1 tuition and group classes booked through Slater & Green Ltd. They do not apply to tuition or assessments booked directly with Anna Slater or Victoria Green, which are covered by their own terms.
2. Tutors
Tutors are independent, self-employed contractors and are not employees of Slater & Green Ltd. We match each child with a qualified UK teacher suited to their needs.
3. 1-1 tuition: fees and payment
1-1 lessons are charged at the hourly rates on our Fees page. Families are invoiced monthly in arrears for lessons delivered that month. Invoices are payable within 7 days.
4. Group classes: fees and payment
Group courses must be paid in full before the course start date. A place is only confirmed once payment is received. Classes are limited to four children.
Fees are non-refundable once a course has started, and missed sessions are not refunded.
5. Cancellations
All lessons are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged in full. If Slater & Green or your tutor needs to cancel a lesson, we will offer an alternative time or you will not be charged.
6. Changes to fees
We will give at least one month's notice of any change to our fees.
7. Ending 1-1 tuition
You can stop 1-1 lessons at any time by letting us know. Lessons already delivered, and late cancellations, will still be charged.
