Demystifying Reading, Classics and Vocabulary

Slater and Green’s Book Club is designed to holistically support and inspire children to access and embrace classic and challenging texts. Through bespoke small group reading sessions for children from Year 3 upwards, we focus on unfolding complex language, themes, and contexts in a way that builds confidence in reading, vocabulary, and comprehension. Our Book Club aims to help children go beyond the page, making reading a joyful, memorable, and enriching experience.

Our Book Clubs are run by qualified teachers who work at or have worked at top schools. They understand the high expectations of the 11+ at independent schools and weave goals into their sessions.
