We are a small, friendly agency with strong connections with our tutors. We do not use a database but match you with the tutor who best suits your needs. We believe that all outstanding educators need more than a strong academic record and should be trained in current pedagogy and teaching methods. This is why all our tutors are UK qualified teachers who keep up to date with new methodologies.
Our Team
Anna Slater - Director
Anna Slater is co-founder of Slater and Green, boasts over 12 years of teaching experience at prep schools and international schools. Anna’s academic journey began at University College London and the University of Manchester, where she fostered her passion for history and undertook a PGCE where she was awarded outstanding for her teaching practice. Anna spent seven years at Glendower Prep School before moving into senior leadership, and is now Head of Upper School at another leading West London girls’ school. Anna has extensive successful experience preparing pupils for London Day school examinations, in particular the 11+. Anna is dedicated to providing holistic academic mentoring which places the individual at the forefront of her practice.
Victoria Green - Director
Victoria Green, co-founder of Slater and Green, has worked at top London prep schools, international schools and in private households. She studied at SOAS, University of London and the University of Cambridge. She was a governess in Kazakhstan and London and has worked as a holiday tutor in Switzerland and Italy. She works with pupils across the full range of the curriculum, with a current specialism in long-term 11+ English preparation. Victoria specializes in building children's confidence and giving them the skills to tackle academic challenges and flourish. Her knowledge of the London preparatory school system makes her ideally placed to support pupils with their entrance examinations.
